This Privacy Policy applies to anyone who visits the DejaFlow website or uses the DejaFlow service, which is
provided by CompanionLink Software, Inc.

Data We Collect
- DejaFlow Account - Your DejaFlow account has an Email ID. We collect this email and we send status notices to this email address. Your account has a password, and we store only a hash, so your password is not actually in our system. When you synchronize, your data passes through our DejaFlow server; Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes and related data are not stored, but Record ID and Category are stored. For logging purposes, Contact Names, Company names, and Email Addresses may be logged. This data is locked to our highest level of support staff and is not used for marketing.
- DejaFlow Connector - We collect the email address, OAuth token, app password, or password you give us in order to reach your cloud Calendar, Contacts and Tasks. These credentials are used only to run the synchronization you set up.
- Purchases and Subscriptions - Purchases are handled by PayPal. We retain the product purchased, the purchase date, the amount, and the email address PayPal reports for the payment. We do not receive or store your card details. If the address that paid differs from your DejaFlow login, you may tell us that address so we can match your subscription to your account.
- IP Address - As you browse our website we record your IP address and country so that we can deliver service appropriate to you, and to record the origin of a purchase.
- Browser History - As you browse our website, anonymized analytics information is shared with Google Analytics, which is standard industry practice.
CompanionLink does not sell the above data to other companies.
Your Cloud Accounts
DejaFlow connects the accounts you choose - for example Google and Microsoft 365 - and moves Contacts,
Calendar and Task records between them. The permissions we request are the ones required to do that:
- Your email address - identifies which account is being synchronized.
- Your Calendars - if you synchronize calendar, we read and update events.
- Your Contacts - if you synchronize contacts, we read and update contacts.
- Your Tasks - if you synchronize tasks, we read and update tasks.
CompanionLink does not use Google Workspace APIs, or any data obtained through them, to develop, improve,
or train generalized AI and/or ML models. Your Contact, Calendar and Task content is never used to train
any model, ours or anyone else's.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and Analytics
If you get an affinity or discount code for a product, we store that as a cookie in your browser for 30 days.
This credits the referring party with the sale.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. This is the only third-party
script on our website. We do not use StatCounter, advertising networks, marketing partners, or
cookie-based or location-based advertising.
Our site records IP address for GDPR specific content. If your IP is in the EEA, some of our pages will have
EEA specific content.
We do not use beacons in our email or on our website, and we do not use browser Location.

- The DejaFlow sync server is in Fremont, California, USA
- CompanionLink's other servers are in Newark, New Jersey, USA
- CompanionLink Software, Inc., is an Oregon Corporation. In the case of legal proceedings, the laws of the State of Oregon shall prevail.
Services
- DejaFlow Sync - Uses SSL encryption. Your Contact, Calendar and Task data is not stored; it passes through on the way between the two services you connected. Your connector login credentials are stored on our server in Fremont, California so that scheduled synchronization can run.
- Technical Support - Our technical support ticket system stores each email you send and all outbound emails. If you request a phone call, we will call you based on your phone number in emails, or in purchase records.
Data Retention
- Connector credentials are kept for as long as the connector exists. Delete a connector and its stored credentials are removed.
- If an account goes 90 days with no synchronization activity, our automated maintenance closes the account and clears its connector information.
- Purchase records are retained as business and tax records. On a deletion request we sever the identity from the transaction rather than destroy the accounting record.
- Support tickets are deleted on request.
Your Rights
Whether or not GDPR or CCPA applies to you, you may:
- Ask what data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it, subject to the retention notes above.
- Ask for a copy of it.
- Withdraw a connector's access at any time, from DejaFlow or from Google or Microsoft directly.
Email

ticket queue to fight through.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not buy or sell mailing lists.
- We do not read your Contacts, Calendar or Tasks for any purpose other than running your synchronization and diagnosing faults you report.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- We do not run advertising, retargeting, or marketing pixels.
Marketing
CompanionLink sends marketing emails to people who have tried our products, and to people who have purchased our products. Our marketing is strictly by email; we do not use telephone for marketing.
- Opt-Out - You may unsubscribe from our marketing using this page. If you have multiple email addresses, please enter each one. The opt out process will affect all future marketing campaigns, but may not be reflected in our current campaigns. It may take up to 30 days to take effect.
- Subscriptions - If you are using DejaFlow above the free limit without a current subscription, you will receive renewal and account status notices regardless of your Opt Out status. These are service notices, not marketing. If you do not wish to receive them, reduce your account below the free limit or stop using the service. Once an account is closed, the notices stop.
- Be Forgotten - If you wish to be forgotten, and do not need any license service or support, you can email dpo@companionlink.com with your request. Please include all names and emails associated with your account. After confirmation we will purge your email address and name from our marketing and licensing databases, and delete your tickets from our support system. If you ask for this service, and later use our software, it will require a new purchase to obtain a software license.
Legal Disclosures
We may share your data if required to by law enforcement or government authority.
While CompanionLink has become the grandfather of all sync companies, operating continuously since 1987, it may come to pass that we sell the business. We will bind the new entity to follow this Privacy Policy until at least two years after the change in control.
